25 Jun Dr. Sebag Attends The Club Jules Gonin 34th Biennial Meeting
The Club Jules Gonin is an international organization dedicated to diseases of the vitreous, macula, retina, and choroid.
The aims of the club are to establish personal contacts and to promote exchanges of view between specialists in vitreo-retino-choroidal pathology and surgery, to organize colloquia and congresses with this aim view, and to initiate, facilitate, and support research work and publications in this specialized field of ophthalmology..
The Club held its 34th meeting in May in Mallorca, Spain.
Dr. Sebag presented a lecture on Limited Vitrectomy for Vision Degrading Myodesopsia from Vitreous Floaters. The lecture described the origin(s) of floaters, the clinical tests performed to diagnose advanced cases (called Vision Degrading Myodesopsia), and the successful results obtained with limited vitrectomy surgery. The data was based upon 798 cases evaluated at the VMR Institute for Vitreous Macula Retina in Huntington Beach, California.
