2026 – Dr. Sebag Delivers First Rich Lecture of 2026

On January 8, 2026 Dr. Sebag delivered the first Rich Lecture of the new year at the Callahan Eye Institute of the University of Alabama Birmingham. The lecture presented scientific and clinical information concerning the role(s) of vitreous in ocular physiology and its important contribution(s) to a broad spectrum of vitreo-retinal diseases. Novel insights will likely usher in new diagnostics and therapeutics to cure as well as prevent vision loss.
