Justin entered field of ophthalmology and joined the team at the VMR Institute as an ophthalmic technician in 2012. As a technician, he enjoys assisting retina specialists, Dr. Sebag and Dr. Chong, with patient care. In order to further his knowledge in the field of ophthalmology, more recently, Justin has also become active in VMR Institute’s research efforts conducting clinical research in the field of ophthalmology for VMR Institute in combination with the Doheny Eye Institute of Los Angeles.

He is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine with a major in Business Economics. Since his involvement at VMR Institute, Justin has decidedly embarked on changed career path. He is now currently studying Biology to pursue a higher degree with a long term goal to be a health care professional.

Justin, also an expert in the Vietnamese language, has also become the point person for communicating with VMR Institute’s Vietnamese patients.

In his free time, he enjoys high-impact outdoor activities.
